Huggies are my favorite of all. I use their diapers and wipes. If I had to get another brand I would get pampers and then Luvs last.

I ended up having a natural birth but it wasn't by choice. I had gotten an epidural but somehow it came out of my back and the drugs wore off. after laboring for 11 hours I had my son naturally and it ended up being such a wonderful experience for me and my boy.

I started my son on the (single grain) rice cereal first and soon we will move to the oatmeal cereal.

Yes my son was circumcised. If I have any other boys they will all be circumcised.

Nausea and I was very tired but before my 2nd trimester I was feeling better and started having a normal appetite again.

Pregnancy Checklist. Week #35
1. My prenatals are every week now. My calendar is full of them — I’ve got them scheduled through week 41, just in case. My doctor also scheduled my Group B strep test.
2. I’m prepared for any emergency! I’ve put together a baby first-aid kit and emergency kit.
3. “False” labor or real? Nothing feels false about these Braxton-Hicks contractions! But I’ve talked with my doctor, and I know how to tell the difference between pre-labor contractions and the “real thing.” (Hint: if a warm bath makes it stop, it’s not time to head to the hospital yet.)

4. I need a lot of calories right now, but my stomach barely has any space — I can only eat a few bites at one time. So I’ve adjusted my schedule to make time for 5-7 meals instead of 3. Basically, it’s always time for a snack.
5. I gave a friend or neighbor our house key and instructions on how to take care of our pets while we’re gone.
6. We finally agreed on our baby’s middle name. Whew. Ready to fill in the birth certificate!
7. I’ve got my labor plan written down, and I hung it somewhere my partner will be able to find it (even if he’s freaking out). It lists who to call, how to arrange pet sitting or childcare, and how to get to the hospital or birth center.

Pregnancy Checklist. Week #34
1. If I’m planning a home birth, I’ve talked with my midwife about safety plans and back-up care if necessary.
2. My bags are packed! I packed my hospital bag with all my essentials, from toiletries and entertainment to directions to the hospital, copies of my insurance cards, and my birth plan. I also packed a separate bag with newborn essentials, and a third bag for my partner. Now we just have to remember all three when we dash out the door.
3. I’m ready to relax postpartum. I’ve got several weeks of dinners cooked, frozen and ready to heat. I won’t have to set foot in the kitchen for a month.

4. I washed all the baby clothes and put them away. They’re organized in the nursery dresser, arranged by size and season.
5. I talked with my employer to finalize when my last day will be before maternity leave. And I’ll be honest: I’m counting down the days till my “vacation”!
6. ROA, LOP, transverse, breech…there’s a lot more to baby’s position than just head down! My doctor and I have talked about how my baby is positioned right now. I understand how position can affect labor, and my doctor and I have talked about any concerns and my options.
7. My baby’s swing is assembled and ready to go. (Who knew a piece of baby gear could take up so much space in my living room?)

1. I’ve researched the pros and cons of home birth. I love the idea of being in the comfort of my own home, but being in a hospital makes it easier to get specialized care in an emergency.
2. How much do I want to spend on birth announcements? I’ve been shopping for birth announcements, and I’ve decided whether I want to send fancy cards, digital announcements, or just an email to everyone on my list.
3. I’ve added an important list to my birth plan: who can be in the delivery room with me. Sorry, mother-in-law, but you can’t come in till after the exciting part’s over.

4. My partner and I decided on our plan for vaccinations. We know which vaccinations our baby will get at birth, and we’ve discussed them with our doctor and put them on our birth plan.
5. I’ve installed the car seat (okay, actually my partner did). We took it to the fire station to have our installation checked by a car seat technician.
6. I’ve learned about crib safety and safe sleep for my baby. I made sure my crib meets all safety standards, and I’m saving all the blankets and pillows for when baby is older.
7. My house is clean! — and it might even stay that way. I hired a housecleaner or a friend so I didn’t have to work around my big belly with a broom.

1. I figured out who will take care of my older kids and pets when labor starts. I have a back-up person in case my first choice can’t get here right away.
2. I toured my hospital or birth center. That recovery room is gorgeous!
3. I’ve thought about who I want to ask to be my child’s godparents — maybe relatives or close family friends.

4. I’ve been counting kicks! At least, I’m trying. Right now they’re coming so fast I can’t keep up — it’s like I have an octopus in there!
5. I know they’re just going to get spit-up all over them, but I couldn’t resist buying that expensive pair of booties with the matching onesie. We’ll take a couple of pictures in them before they get ruined.
6. I interviewed pediatricians in my area, and I chose a great one for my baby! I think she’ll be a great partner for my baby’s health.
7. My doctor scheduled me for a biophysical profile. This will include an ultrasound and nonstress test to make sure my baby is still healthy through the third trimester.
