Alcohol should be used in moderation while breastfeeding. The general rule is if you feel buzzed then your milk is buzzed. If you feel drunk then your milk is drunk. If we feel normal then it is fine to breastfeed. If you are buzzed or drunk then wait a few hours before your breastfeed. There is no need to pump and dump. If you are feeling discomfort from full breasts you can pump, but you don't have to.
