Developmental delays for baby born at 36 weeks

At 36 weeks, baby is considered "late pre-term" as they are really developed by this age. There are some studies out there that state babies born at 26 weeks have about a 36 percent higher risk of a developmental delay or disability when they enter grade school. Until they enter school though, you won't see any delays, so the study says.

By 36 weeks everything is developed, they just don't have as much fat on their bones so they are smaller. All my kids have been born at 37 so an OB told me this with the second.
