Baby might just need to be burped. More often than not, that's the case with my daughter.


I had this problem once when my daughter was four months old and teething, which made it rough for her when she was nursing. Teething gel helped to soothe her gums and she was able to nurse when she wanted. Haven't had a problem since and i'm still breastfeeding.


For us, aside from growth or developmental spurts, reflux was an issue. After we solved it, we had easier nursing. It got a lot better after three months, too, after the evening-fussies went away.
