Glycerin suppositories should only be given to a baby under a doctors supervision. Constipation has nothing to do with the frequency of the baby's bowel movements. Constipation in babies only has to do with the consistency of their bowel movements. Hard, tiny peddle like stools are a sign of constipation. If you baby is suffering from constipation there are many things you can try such as giving them more water or even juice.
