A hemangioma might be a hard thing for you to deal with emotionally especially if it is on your baby's face. Most of the time an hemangioma will slowly fade and get smaller with time and not require any treatment. In rare cases a hemangioma will get bigger and redder and will require medication or surgery to remove it. Sometimes a hemangioma can bleed as well. Monitor the size of the hemangioma and alert your doctor to any growth or bleeding.
