When can baby eat cauliflower

There are some conflicting thoughts on when to introduce baby to cauliflower. Some say 6-8 months, some say 9 months. It is a gassy food so if you have introduced broccoli successfully then baby may do ok with cauliflower. My gut says the closer to a year the better and I'd introduce it with mashed potatoes and only a little bit at a time. Then increase the amount with each introduction depending on if baby has any reactions or not.
