Vacations and babies! I know some parents don't take their children on vacations with them. Pre-baby I thought really why would they leave them. Now that I'm a mother and have some family who don't take their kids on certain vacations I totally understand. It gives them a chance to miss their child more and love them more when they return. Vacations and babies can go really good and really bad. If I go on vacation most likely Jay will go with me. But if your not into it I say it's fine. I mean it's your child not mine no judgement here.

Taking a baby on vacation can be fun. You have to remember to pack extra things. If you are flying give yourself extra time and take advantage of family boarding if the airline has it. You can take stage 1 and Stage 2 baby food with you in your carry on. They are approved because they are 3 ounces or less. Don't forget extra outfits, bottles, pumps, diapers, toys, snacks, spoons, books. If you are going somewhere where a store is accessible you can always purchase diapers and more food at the store to help save space while packing. Remember to have fun and breathe.

I haven't done it yet, but I talked to several of the moms in my neighborhood who all travelled with very young children. They all said travelling in infancy is WAY easier than trying to travel with a toddler
