I used to enjoy reading the weekly wrap up and monthly newsletter from Henry's preschool. I found them quite informative as they provided great insight into what the children were learning.

A preschool newsletter should recap or highlight projects the children worked on or lesson units they learned. Pictures of the finished projects, as well as of children throughout the day, add a necessary visual touch.

You should also include any announcements for upcoming events or PSAs (Public Service Announcements) you feel parents should know about (e.g., chicken pox is going around, it's getting colder so have your child bring a sweater, etc.).

Parents also like hearing about future lesson units and if there's a need for volunteers or donations of any kind.
