Winter holidays are an easy theme for preschool decorations. Between the holidays and the weather, there are plenty of creative ideas.

Cut snowflakes out of white coffee filters and add a little sparkle with some glitter. Tie a ribbon through them to make a garland.

Make snowmen out of paper. Glue on buttons, orange paper triangles for the noses, and scraps of fabric for the scarves.

Paint a paper plate green. Cut a slit halfway into it and form a cone. Tape or glue in place and add mini pom poms for decorations.

Create a menorah with blue hand prints on white paper, making sure the thumbs overlap, and there are 9 candles in all. Add yellow finger prints for the candles.

Color a paper flag, red, black and green for Kwanzaa.
