Computers for preschoolers: hurting or helping?

I think the key to all electronic use is moderation. Not allowing our children, preschoolers or not, unlimited access to computers, iPhones or any sort of tablets. Setting a timer can help monitor time spent on these devices.

We really try to use electronics for educational purposes only with our children. Unless we are watching a movie as a family. We do allow them to play a game or two but limit that as it is highly addicting to little people too!

So to answer the question completely, I think full access to computers and electronic devices can be hurtful to preschoolers and their development if they do not have time to play or spend time outside. Otherwise if a healthy balance is in place then I do not think it is harmful but helpful in educating our children.
