My son is a big baby

As of his last check up he was 23 lbs and 30 inches tall!! He's hug! Doc says to ease up on the feeding and to a point we did, but then we didn't. Lucas is heavy yet, but he's also tall, which makes it even out a bit. Plus when he starts walking and running around his weight will definitely stabilize and/or go down. This is our choice to not listen to the diet advice though. You should always listen to your baby's doctor. The only reason we didn't was because if we fed Lucas according to the doctor, he would still be hungry after his feedings.

Unless the pediatrician is concerned about your baby being big, I wouldn't worry too much as long as you're feeding them healthy foods.

Something to keep in mind is that once babies become mobile (crawling, cruising, walking), their physical activity may keep their weight in check or they could even lose a small amount of weight. When Henry became mobile, he was more interested in moving around than eating.
