How can I tell if my baby car seat is FAA approved?

Most car seats in the United States are FAA approved. You can only use a car seat on an airplane if it is FAA approved. There will be a sticker somewhere on the car seat that says it is FAA approved. Each car seat puts the sticker in a different place and often times there is other information on the same sticker. The instruction booklet should also say if it is FAA approved or not.
