About 20% of women have some bleeding during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

You may experience some normal spotting within the first six to 12 days after you conceive as the fertilized egg implants itself in the lining of the uterus. Some women don't realize they are pregnant because they mistake this bleeding for a light period.


I have very irregular periods so that's why I'm really not sure. I went to the hospital last week because I was sick and they told me I was pregnant. They did a sonogram there to make sure everything was okay and I heard the heartbeat and everything, but they weren't sure how far along I was
