If you are overweight, it's definitely worth it to keep your food choices in check and increase your activity level. Losing 20lbs resulted in my second pregnancy (after 5 years of secondary infertility) and I'm a firm believer that my changes to my lifestyle helped.


-See your doctor for a preconception appointment to be sure you are healthy.

-Eat healthy and drink plenty of water.

-Take prenatal vitamins to help reduce your baby's risk of neural tube defects.

-Track your cycle, make note of them your period starts and ends, monitor your cervical mucous and your basal body temperature.
