ADHD child discipline: early intervention

Message length 300 characters recommended

Early intervention services are usually not used by children who are diagnosed as ADHD. It is not typical for a diagnosis to come before they begin school so EI is not an option to them once they are diagnosed.

That said, children who are young school age can benefit greatly from counseling and therapies such as child play therapy to help them learn how to develop and utilize coping skills when dealing with their ADHD.
