Oh those cribs! Or pack & plays!

There are definitely things you need to keep in mind... for instance, NO pillows, blankets, soft toys, toys at all really.. basically nothing but that sweet little babe in the crib! Perhaps their pacifier, but other than that, everything else could be a potential risk to them.. better safe then sorry.. just keep it out of that crib!


Babies who are 12 months of age or younger should not have blankets or pillows in their crib for fear of suffocation. I know it's tempting to have the cute matching bedding set in there but really, babies don't need anything more than warm layers on (onesies, footed pajamas, sleep sacks) and a fitted mattress sheet. If you prefer having a crib bumper in there, consider the breathable kind.
