When a baby can hold his/her head up, sit up, move head side to side on tummy, crawl, and roll over or when they naturally roll over onto their tummy. Some babies sleep better on their stomachs and this is because it can relief colic and reduce the sleep reflex moro. Reflex moro is the infantile relex (the startle reflex) in a newborn, which is a sudden loss of support when a baby is falling asleep and can last up to 5 months old.
