If your baby is used to co-sleeping with you in your bed, it may take some time to transition them to their crib. You could begin the process by putting them in their crib while they're awake with a couple toys while you stay with them in their room. This allows them to get used to a new environment so it doesn't feel so scary for them. Start with 5 minute increments and gradually increase to 10-15 minute increments. Then try putting them in the crib when they're drowsy when it's close to nap time. You may find they're more receptive to falling asleep in there on their own.
