Any vaginal bleeding during pregnancy should be reported to your medical provider. Brown bleeding is old blood and is of very little concern if you are experiencing no other symptoms. Pink blood is very little blood and usually not a cause of concern. Bright red blood is more concerning. If you experience bright red bleeding pay attention to how much bleeding you are experiencing, only spotting in your underwear, only when you wipe, or like when you have a period. Determine if you are having any other symptoms such as cramping, pain, fever, etc. Call your doctor and let them know what is going on and follow their advice. Some causes of bleeding are very serious and other causes are very minor and can be easily treated.
