We like physical activity cube!
Using white card stock, cut out 6 squares.
Write the activities on each square.
Tape the squares together using clear packing tape.
Before you tape the last square on, stuff in a few pieces of crumpled newspaper to give it more stability.

Here's what's on it:

Spin in a circle.
Jump 5 times.
Flap your arms like a bird.
Hop on one foot.
Do yoga pose

Sometimes it is hard to come up with fun indoor activities when your kids get bored. Here's a few ideas though, hopefully they will be helpful!
- Make a tent out of pillows and blankets.
- Do a craft!
- Fill up the bathtub and let them play for as long as they want to.
- Read a story and then draw pictures about the story.
- Make your own board game up!
- Bake something yummy.
- Have a movie marathon, we like Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 in particular.

This is very appropriate for this subject of boredom.

Have you....

Been creative?

Outside play?

Read a book?

Exercise 20 minutes?

Done something helpful?

Thankfully, we have Pinterest to find a bunch of activities. One that my kids really enjoy is buying a small or medium size canvas at Hobby Lobby (use a 40% off coupon!!) and attaching crayons on it and using a blow dryer to melt the crayons down the canvas.

You know, I don't think any mother aims to be a single mom. I didn't wish for that, but it happened.
