Cornstarch is not recommended for treating diaper rash. We all have bacteria and fungus living on our skin, it is normal. When a baby has a diaper rash their skin it at risk for this bacteria or fungus to start growing out of control and to make the rash worse. Cornstarch will actually feed fungus and make it grow very quickly and out of control.
