Message length 300 characters recommended

Teething problems probably improved after your baby's first few teeth broke through. Then, just after your toddler's first birthday, the following symptoms may have returned:

1. Red, swollen and tender gum.
2. A red, flushed cheek or face,
perhaps with a rash
3. Ear-rubbing on the same side as the erupting tooth
4. Disturbed sleep
5. Decreased appetite
6. Gum-rubbing, drooling, biting or chewing
7. General unhappiness and irritability
8. A slightly raised temperature (lower than 38 degrees C), but not a fever
