Constantly feeling faint and light headed during pregnancy

There were many occasions I felt faint and light headed during my pregnancy. When I talked to my doctor about it, they thought it could be a sign of not having enough protein or my blood sugar level not being stabilized.

My doctor suggested making sure I eat some protein first thing in the morning and to eat small meals constantly throughout the day as a way to control my blood sugar. Peanut butter and eggs were inexpensive and excellent sources of protein so I would eat some for breakfast.

I did end up having gestational diabetes in my third trimester so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
