I had low iron in my last pregnancy, as well as after a couple of my miscarriages.

I was more tired and low energy. Molasses is another way to get iron, especially if it is blackstrap, which doesn't taste nearly as good as regular molasses! This, in addition to red meat like beef is how I got my iron levels back up

I had to be put on an iron supplement during pregnancy because my iron was low as well (I took a gentle low iron one). I rarely like red meat and could not stomach it even more during pregnancy. It was my food aversion.

I enjoy dried fruit and ate plenty but it still was not enough.
