It is normal to feel light headed during pregnancy, especially when sitting or standing after laying down for awhile. Your body has an increased blood volume that it is adjusting to. It is common to have changes in your blood pressure as well. To help reduce the light headed feeling try to get up slowly, sit on the side of the bed for a few minutes before standing up. Eat a snack during the night to help keep your blood sugar and protein steady.
