Advice for pumping while breastfeeding

I found that not watching the milk was important because it never seemed to be enough and it was a stressor for me. I would pump more when I wasn't seeing how much there was. Finding things to do, like read helped but often times I just shut my eyes and relaxed. If I was having problems, I would lay a warm wash cloth over my breast before pumping to get the flow started easier.


Do you have a bouncy seat to set her in while you pump? What about a baby carrier for the back or side? Though I don't know if that would work so well for the back for a newborn. I always wore mine on my front as newborns .
