This is very true my boys will rather eat a scramble eggs and cheese for dinner than a plate full of rice, beans and chicken... my oldest son love broccoli and a slice of cheese melted on top, or pasta with sauce
(like he call it piggy) I always add a piece of fruit on the side and a cup of milk!! And they are happy campers!!

Dinners for kids don't have to be complicated at all. Many of them use 5 ingredients or less. When you're stuck in a dinner rut, consider some of these ideas.

Breakfast for dinner is always a winner. Scrambled eggs with toast, fruit, and milk are quick and easy to prepare.

One of Henry's favorite dishes is short pasta (macaroni or bowtie) with peas and bacon. While the water is boiling for the pasta, dice bacon (easier when frozen) and sautee until crispy. When the water comes to a boil, add the pasta and 5 minutes before the pasta is done cooking, add some frozen peas. Drain the pasta and peas and add the bacon.

Quesadillas can be made in the microwave. Lay a tortilla open face on a plate and sprinkle shredded cheese over it, along with any other fillings you want. Cook in the microwave until the cheese is bubbly. Flip half of the tortilla over so it creates a half circle. Slice into wedges.
