Concerns with having a septum in uterus during pregnancy

I had to have a D and C. While I was having the procedure done the doctor noticed that there was a septum in my uterus making it bicornuate. Basically what happens is when you have a bicornate uterus or any uterus abormality, once the baby gets to be a certain size it can not grow anymore. The reason you have one is because when you are in your mother's womb, your uterus is two pieces and it fuses together and the part that fuses together dissolves normally.
