I am working on two months out to get my tubal reversal surgery and I am 42 but I have had four previous children and we as a couple have decided to try for just one more if God will bless us with one ,my husband is not a father and he is so great with little ones. So I am going to do my best to have the healthiest little one that I possibly can.

The most common risks of having a baby after 35 is that your risk of miscarriage goes up. You are at greater risk of having a baby with down syndrome. Also you have a greater risk of having gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, placental abruption, premature labor, and greater risk of c-section.
I had my first at 35 and did have a c-section and the doctor that delivered him thinks that I had gestational diabetes. There are many women who have babies after 35 without any problems though.
