It is recommended that you don't try to lose any weight for the first two months after giving birth. After those two months have passed moms can safely lose 1.5lbs a week while breastfeeding. It is recommended that you don't eat less than 1500-1800 calories per day. Gradually decrease your calories to avoid reducing your milk supply.
