Is bed wetting behavior in 3 year olds normal?

Bed wetting behavior in 3 year olds is very normal. Contrary to popular belief, you can't really potty train a 3 year old at night time because their brain has to wake them up while they're sleeping to signal when their bladder is full.

Night time dryness often takes much longer than day time dryness to master. You can help facilitate night time dryness by reducing or eliminating liquids after a certain time, making sure they fully empty their bladders right before bedtime, and waking them up during the night to use the bathroom.

It also helped my son to keep a portable potty right by his bedroom in case he was too scared to use the bathroom at night.
