Spastic cerebral palsy can be very uncomfortable for children to deal with. The flailing of limbs cannot only be uncomfortable, but it can also be harmful to them in situations where they need to exercise caution.

While there are medications available to help with this, they don't work very well for everyone. Botox injections are one that may offer very temporary relief in smaller muscle group areas. Generally this is not done as a single treatment, but as a regimen spaced out over several weeks or months.
