Spitting up in babies: normal vs. problem

I think it is natural as long as it is not projectile or vomiting. When we first brought E back from the hospital, she started vomiting and became dehydrated. She was in the NICU for 4 days. Since, she has just had regular amounts of spit up. Sometimes, it would be a ton, and it was nasty, but it's normal.

Most of the moms I know seem to have more spit up with bottle feeding than breastfeeding. This is because of the fact that when a baby is bottle feeding, they tend to swallow more air.
