Fertility tracking is something that can help you to get pregnant. You can use your symptoms like cervical mucus, basal body temperature, etc. You can use ovulation predictor kits, and even charting apps that will help you figure out your fertile times.

As for supplements, you can get over-the-counter progesterone, Fertilitea, vitex/chasteberry, soy isoflavones, evening primrose oil, vitamins, and more. You use these things at different points in your cycle.

Before my husband and I started trying to conceive, I stopped taking my birth control pill. I hadn't expected to get pregnant so quickly the next month because I thought it could take a while. Nope! It can for some women but it didn't for me.

It does help to start tracking your cycles. How far apart are your periods? Are you regular?

Do you know the signs of your body ovulating? For me, I knew I was ovulating when my cervical mucus looked like a stretchy egg white consistency and my libido spiked. I'd also occasionally get a slight twinge one one side when an egg was released.

Some women also take their BBT (basal body temperature) every morning right when they wake up and record their findings on a chart. Charting your BBT for a few months will reveal a pattern of when your body ovulates. There will be a slight rise in BBT about 2-3 days after ovulation.

Some moms I've talked to have also used OPKs (ovulation predictor kits). I did not use one but I'd imagine they're pretty easy to use.

The trick is to figure out when you ovulate each month and have sex during those times.
