Having one ectopic pregnancy can put you at high risk for future complications, including having another tubal pregnancy. However, at 18 months about 65% of women who have had an ectopic pregnancy have gone on to have a successful pregnancy. At 20 months, it's about 85%. So, the chances are still quite high for a successful pregnancy. In the event of complications, there is still hope for using IVF after a tubal as well.
