Twins fraternal and identical differences

Message length 300 characters recommended

Fraternal twins are created when there are 2 separate fertilized eggs so each twin has their own amniotic sac, placenta and supporting structures.

Identical twins are created when 1 fertilized egg is split into 2 and may or may not share the same amniotic sac depending on how early it split. Although identical twins share the same DNA, they may not always look identical to each other because of womb positions and life experiences after they're born.
