at the begging i was mad about the whole no taking naps but now i love it by 830 pm is washer time cup of milk and bed time it is!!!

MY girls though only napped 1 - 1.5 hours at the most form about 8 months to 2 years or so and then no more naps. :(

My daughter stopped napping as soon as she turned 2 lol. But I just make sure she stays on schedule and she goes to bed at 7 and is out for the night. So I just keep her busy through out the day.

Caz began with 2 naps per day ranging 45 min-1.5 hrs. each then after 18 months it changed to 1 nap for 2-3 hours. Hes always faught nap time as if afraid to miss something fun. I try to keep from distractions like tv bc he would just get into it and not sleep. Instead I put on soundscapes or light classical music or sing to him myself while rubbing his head and he falls asleep. These days he requires much more attention and energy overall and keeping him busy and exercised really helps. Basically wearing him out in a healthy way. However; some days he still tries to fight it, that may never end :-).

I pray Kaden still takes his naps twice a day but I am sure it will end soon. If it does, what I will do is to keep him quiet in our room, watch tv and play games with me.. Or we go out to the playground and let his energy go wild
