My son finds comfort in his stuffed giraffe's head. Yes, you read that correctly, his stuffed giraffe's head. It's a toy he snuggles with before he goes to bed and even helps him nap. I take it away after he falls asleep. He also like to chew on my fingers or his own. He will not take to teething rings, infant popsicles, or pacifiers or any other chewing/teething toy. If your child finds comfort it something and it cannot harm them, then allow them to chew on what comforts them and what they find relief in.

The freezable teething rings are the best for teething. I wouldn't put any trust in the new stuff/ alternatives that are coming out nowadays -- too risky.
