i don't think there's a wait period my boys are 14 month apart but my 2nd child was premature but thank god he had ( he was 8 1/2 lb) the proper weigh so he didn't had to stay in the hospital for any reason, but my doctor did't metion before me getting pregnant that i had to wait at least a yr then think of having another baby ( not my case but thank god everything was ok)

my boys were both C-section . They were 14 months apart I had no complications except my 2nd son was premature so it is scarey I recommend finding out from your ob because I seriously believe the same that every pregnancy is different so much is every womans body and how we deal with these things. All four of my children are C-section babies. I have learned everything from how to breastfeed in oain to the easiest manner of how to get up from my bed without straining the staples

Definitely talk to a doctor before trying to conceive again, because this can be one of those case-by-case situations. Getting pregnant less than six months after a C-section can pose risks of complications such as a ruptured uterus or baby having low birth weight. Most doctors will recommend you wait at least one year before conceiving again after a C-section. Some will even suggest waiting 18 to 24 months or more.

To reduce the risk of pregnancy complications and other health problems, limited research suggests waiting at least 18 to 24 months .

Recovery from a c-section takes longer, actually you have had a major surgery, so you will need more time to rest and recover. Also there is a higher chance that you will have a c-section with your next baby too. I know that many doctors recommend to take a break for 24-36 months before trying again.

My kids are 2.5 years apart. After the labor (ending in a c-section) and a recovery that I had with him, I was in NO hurry at all to get pregnant again!

I think it's normal to feel that way after a hard birth be it a c-section or just hard labor. And how soon will vary from mom to mom/couple to couple and even doctor to doctor.
