Yes, but nothing severe or to be concerned about. Things are stretching and moving around, causing some discomfort because your body is preparing itself to grow that baby...or babies and everything they will need to get nutrients into his/her system. :)

Lower abdominal cramping is just one of those things that happen (yep -- another one) when a baby is growing in our belly. Doctors call itround ligament pain. Our uterus is getting bigger every day (so isbaby!), and the muscles and ligaments supporting it are stretching outto accommodate the changes. That stretching can bring a bit of pain, especially when you change positions, cough or are particularly active. These MILD aches and jabs are normal and may persist as youruterus continues to grow.

With my first pregnancy, I had menstrual type cramps for about one week and I was constantly running to the bathroom because I was certain I had started my period.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had a urinary tract infect eight out of the nine months I was pregnant.  I never had that tell tale burning feeling you get with a urinary tract infection, however, what I did have was a heavy feeling in my lower abdomen.  It didn't necessarily always hurt, it just felt very low and heavy.
