Arrival Shower

I am considering having an arrival shower after I deliver Cameron. We had a baby shower for daughter at 34 weeks and a baby sprinkle for first son at 33 weeks as more of a celebration. Since I've been put on bed rest, we are now looking at other options for our friends and family to come and celebrate. I would do a sip n' see, but I don't know if the house can stay clean that long! haha How long after baby is born would an arrival shower take place?

Wait 2 weeks so baby's immune system has a chance to fight any colds people might have.

Personally I would wait until the baby was at least a few weeks old. I would want to make sure I was feeling better before hosting anything. I also worry about germs, especially this time of year.
