i agree 100% about being observant. i have had 2 other miscarriages before ( the last one was around 12 years ago) and had healthy pregnancies after but i am a lot older now. thank you for the kind words :-)

I've miscarried three times, all were in the first trimester. Once before my first child, Rebecca, once before my second child, Kaylin, and once before my current pregnancy. What you describe is exactly what happened with me when I found out I was pregnant with Kaylin. Not to gross you out or anything but 'aunt flo' didn't start for 9 months after Rebecca was born. Thanks to exclusive breast feeding and pumping after each feed to have a supply for when my husband and I went on a trip without her. 'Aunt flo' didn't come the following month, preg test said positive, a week or two later I started an extremely heavy flo with lots of cramping (much more than lochia was for me), preg test said neg, a week later preg test said positive. I kept my OB apt and the doc did an ultrasound to see what was going on. 9 months later Kaylin was born.

Good luck with everything. I hope everything turns out well. The biggest worry my doc had with getting pregnant literally right after a miscarriage was having an ectopic pregnancy or a false pregnancy. A false pregnancy is when a few cells get lodged in the uterine wall and the body is tricked into thinking it's pregnant. These cells don't grow or do anything and will eventually turn into a stone. So again, I hope everything goes well for you.
