panic mode

So Mr. Connor gave his mother and nurse quite a scare. I paged the nurse because we have an IV pump that likes to beep for no reason. I went back to sit down after the nurse came in. Connor was sleeping. The nurse had a few other things to do. Connor started to fuss and sneeze so the nurse tried suctioning him. He finished and at this time i was next to the bed. Next thing i know Connor starts choaking. I mean not breathing something in the back of his throat. I tell the nurse, who had his back to Connor. He turns around and i see panic in his eyes as he hits the staff assist button on the back wall. All i see out my window is people running toward our room. doctors, nurses and techs. About 20 of them. By this time we had him breathing. All of this took less than two minutes. I NEVER want to go through that again. I can still hear people making sure Andrew (Connors nurse) is ok.

Oh my goodness, Amanda! So glad he started breathing again. Do they know what caused it? Just saliva or what?
