Which are yours? All of them but I gave birth to the twins, Ember and Emerson, Kalom, Avery and Camdyn. (More twins in March) The rest are adopted but I have raised them all from birth.
How do you handle it? Take it all a day at a time, I always new I wanted a large family so it was easy to adopt 5 and have our own 5. We own and run a breeders ranch in Texas so they basically just hang out outside except for the 4 younger ones.
Why did I adopt? There are a lot of teen moms in my area so when they didn't want the baby and put them up for cheap adoption Chris and I just jumped at the chance to add to the family.

Yes, we make goat milk and cow milk soap and today was our first day making cheese other than mozzarella cheese. We are raising a Guernsey cow, two Oberhasli goats , chickens and turkeys. Plus we have a 30 year old Thoroughbred gelding, 2 year old Newfie/Retriever mix and 6 barn cats.

No, but REALLY, how do you do it? Obviously, spending time outdoors is great, but they all still need to be fed, taught how to read/write/everything, cuddled before bed, etc. Inquiring minds need to know, especially with them so close together :-)

It is hard to explain but as far as food goes we have a massive home, built by these hands :) we have a kind of nice long oblong table so we are fed just the same as you are! We raise Longhorn and Angus cattle so there is always a yummy meal on the table! Being taught is as easy as 5 are already in school and only the little 5 stay home during the day. For bed, they are put to sleep in waves-babies at 8:30 after prayers, baths, storytime and of course cuddles! then the older 5 go to bed at 9:30. It is sometimes hard when they are so close together but that's just it; they love each other so much because they go thru the same issues and growths at the same time. They are all great kids and love helping with the younger ones.

They were all 5 private, just local teen moms don't need a baby on their hands. Definatly cheaper than an agency and the mommies just came to us through the church. We have yet to turn down a baby :)

We welcomed an open adoption but every mother refused, they want nothing to do with them but the grandparents surprisingly ask that I send them a picture monthly so of course I do! All the adopted lovies know they are adopted and know that biological babies grow in my tummy but they grew in my heart instead.
