Amber Teething Necklaces?

I've heard a lot about these lately and have a few friends who swear by them but I just don't know if i'm convinced enough to try one. Holly is a very late teether she's 11 months old and still has no teeth, i'm thinking once they do finally start coming they will come quickly and all at once.

anyone tried one? anyone know a good place to get one?

I could tell you so much about them but Stefany has said a lot already! All three of my babies use them, they are amazing. You are lucky to have a late teether, Bristol is 7 months and already has 2 teeth!!

Where do you buy them? I totally want one for Mindy who is already drooling, sucking, and chewing on anything that comes near her mouth.

Ok I don't like the beads Mindy somehow got one off and was choking on it so it is now in the trash.

My youngest two wore amber teething necklaces and they totally work. I was very skeptical at first but I see a definite improvement in their pain and discomfort. The lighter the color of the amber the more effective it is supposed to be. Also raw amber is supposed to work better than polished amber. Make sure the necklace you are buying is authentic baltic amber. Also make sure the necklace has safety features such as a break away clasp and a knot between each bead.

Also they are not actually supposed to chew on the amber necklace or put it in their mouth. The necklace should be wore against the skin and under their clothing. The amber is warmed up by their body temperature and the natural acid in the amber will absorb into their skin.

Ah very interesting! ... new development for me I thought they actually "teethed" on the amber... glad to know they wear it. My children are out of this stage so i guess I am out of the loop on this one. Learn something new every day!
