Free Day

The kids didn't have school today so today was a free day for them. It's hectic having all eight of them at home sometimes but I enjoy it so much. I always knew I wanted a lot of kids because I always loved playing house as a kid, my kids play that too. It's so much fun watching them play together.

For the most part they do, but they do have their moments where they aren't getting along. If they aren't getting along I try to split them up and have them find something to do.

I think the easiest part is cooking for them because I can cook for a lot of people just as easily as I can cook for myself it seems like. The hardest part is keeping everything cleaned and organized, I am constantly cleaning and organizing. I try to keep everything as caught up as possible but it seems like I'm never caught up. Getting them up in the morning isn't too difficult on me, they share rooms so I get them up at once. Sometimes they are grouchy because I woke them up but they know they have to listen to me and get up.

Yup, I'll have 9 come June. It's chaos most of the time. I pretty much do the same routine every day and can go with the flow too, I'm good at multitasking so that helps a lot. Keeping up with their schedules and everything they are doing is hard, I never thought about how many kids would need me at once until I started having them.
