Support

As a mom who have you found has been the most supportive of you and your choices? Your mom, sister, aunt, husband, doctor, etc?

I have found the most support from other moms. My family has not always been supportive of the way I raise my children. I joined local mom groups for support and online mom groups. I have learned so much from other moms and I think I am a better mom because of it.

    That is great to hear.

My mom is supportive too but I know she doesn't agree with everything I do.

My husband is very supportive. If not for breastfeeding, we come close to a 50/50 split for parenting involvement. If I'm not there, he is, and vice versa. We discuss and come to an agreement, and far it's been wonderful. I come from a home where child rearing was "woman's work," and it warms my heart for my husband to do something as simple as take my daughter at dinner to let me finish my meal.
