...time off!

Mamas.. either work from home or work out of the home..

How long did you take off work when you had a baby?

I would love to know individual scenarios.. even down to blogging!

lol! I love hearing this.. and inspiring to see after your 3rd you came back the quickest.. at least when need be.. since I mainly work from home I just want the HOPE that I can get back to some things in a few weeks.. that isn't far fetched is it? We are planning for 4 weeks... almost completely off, but I hope within 2 or so I could be back to doing some social media work for clients.. even just an hour a day..

I was working with my last two and I was pretty much back at it by two weeks, though when my seventh child was born, I was doing research for a client and was back to work right away so I could get the project done. It was one of "those" late paying clients and I wanted them off my plate asap.

Well, I've become rather adept at nursing and one hand typing over the years, though it is rather slow going, but if need be (especially with hourly clients) I'd prop baby up with pillows in bed and have the laptop on another pillow so I could work typing with two hands. Definitely ways to get back at it and still rest. :)
