Hi Susan and welcome to Moms.com!

We don't have a Kindle, just a Kindle reader on my Mac and my daughter has one on her iPod. It does sound like a book our kids would enjoy.

Thanks for your warm welcome! As long as you have the Kindle app, you can read it. I hope that you and your daughter enjoy my book! How old is she? If she is musical, she might like trying to play Dance of the Trees, an original song I composed for the story, and my publisher added the sheet music to the e-book. She can hear the song, sing by my singer-actress daughter, Lainey, on my website. Lainey is one off the regulars on Nickelodeon's Awesomeness TV.

Well, it's probably too young for my oldest (16) who has the iPod. My others are 14, 13, 11, 10, 7, 5 and 3.

Wow, Theresa, you're a busy Mom! I can't imagine how you raise so many kids. I wish you strength and boundless joy brought by each of them.

Hi, Elena. If he likes when you read to him, maybe you could agree that for every page YOU read, he will read one back to you. Sometimes a child's lack of interest is merely due to his not finding a book that engages him. Do you take him to the library, or browse book sites together? There are sites specifically for "reluctant reader boys." Nonreaders also like audio books (which you can get from the library), and you could tell him that you'll get them for him as long as he promises to read along. Just a few ideas...
